How We Collect Information

We collect personal information about you in the following ways:

2)         Information collected automatically. We may use automated technologies that collect information from you when you visit our websites (more on that below). For example, we use cookies (a tiny file stored on your computer’s browser) to tell us what browser and operating system you have, your IP address, and about your online browsing history.

3)        Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from other sources to help us improve the quality or personalization of our services, optimize our web sites, and to prevent and detect fraud.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

When you visit our sites, we may collect certain information about you through automated means, such as cookies and web beacons.

A "cookie" is a text file that websites send to a visitor's computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor's browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A "web beacon", also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. Through these automated collection methods, we obtain "clickstream data", which is a log of content on which a visitor clicks while browsing a website. As the visitor clicks through the website, a record of the action may be collected and stored.

The information we collect using cookies includes:

•   IP address;

•   browser characteristics, device characteristics, and operating system;

•   language preferences;

•   referring URLs;

•   information on actions taken on our site; and

•   dates and times of website visits.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: these cookies allow the web page to load or provide some essential functionality without which the page would not work.

  • Functional cookies: these cookies allow our website to remember your preferences, making it more efficient and user-friendly.

  • Analytics cookies: these cookies tell us information about the performance of our website, including Google Analytics cookies that monitor the performance of our site, including the pages you visited and which links you clicked on. Our ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our sites is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

·  Communicate with you (service messages, confirmations, updates)

·  Send marketing communications (email/SMS/app push) where permitted

·  For analytics, to understand how you use our websites and apps, how you dine with us, the methods and devices you use to access our websites and apps, and to make improvements to them

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information with the following third parties:

Service providers and processors (IT, hosting, analytics, SMS/email, delivery, reservations, payments, customer support)

Third Party Services

Our Services may contain links to third party websites (for example, reservation, payment, and ordering services like Stripe, Resy and Toast). These services are operated by companies unaffiliated with Episcope. Your use of these services is subject to each third party service provider’s privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you review prior to use. We are not responsible for the content of these third party services, your use of them, or their privacy practices.

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from someone under the age of thirteen, we will delete the information from our records.

State Data Privacy Rights

For our customers residing in certain U.S. states, state law may grant you additional rights. You, or your legally designated representative, may submit a request to exercise your rights by sending an email to legal@episcopehospitality.com. These rights may include your right to:

  • Access and review the personal information we have collected about you, including the sources of the data and purposes for which it was collected.

  • Request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

  • Request the deletion of your personal information (subject to certain legal obligations).
